The General Staff stated in its regular morning report that doctors at Yuvileine refuse to provide medical assistance to Wagner’s mercenaries because most of them are carriers of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, syphilis, tuberculosis and pneumonia.

According to the General Staff, the Russians are actively transforming hospitals in the occupied territories into military hospitals. Meanwhile, local residents are denied medical help, due to the hospitals being full of injured invaders.

It was reported earlier that the Wagner Group recruited many of its mercenaries from Russian prisons. Many convicts are infected with serious infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS.

Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence press service says Wagner marks these convicts with wristbands – red for HIV and white for hepatitis.

Several fighters with HIV or hepatitis are already in Ukrainian captivity and have confirmed reports of mass recruitment of Wagner-infected prisoners, NV’s sister publication Ukrainska Pravda reported.
