The twins nominate AJ Alexy for an assignment

After the official announcement of the acquisition of Michael A. Taylor of the Royals, the Twins designated the right-hander AJ Alexis for assignment.

Alexy was acquired from the Nationals earlier this month – the same day as Carlos Correais completely covered physically with the Twins – but the 24-year-old is now off Minnesota’s 40-man roster and moving into DFA limbo once again.
