House Minority Whip daughter Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) was arrested Sunday during a clash with police at a protest in Boston, Mass., for allegedly spray-painting a monument and assaulting an officer .

Boston police arrested 23-year-old Riley Dowell on Saturday night after he allegedly defaced the Parkman Bandstand monument on Boston Common with spray paint, according to a police department Releasewho used an old name.

Graffiti Dowell tagged on the monument included “NO COP CITY” and “ACAB,” an acronym for “All Cops Are Bastards,” according to police.

An officer was reportedly punched in the face during Dowell’s arrest as around 20 other protesters surrounded the officers, shouting profanity into megaphones and blocking traffic on the nearby public road.

Dowell has been charged with graffiti damage to property, destruction of personal property and assault with a dangerous weapon and will likely face trial in Boston City Court.
