Fox News meteorologist Adam Klotz detailed an encounter on the New York City subway on Sunday that left him with two black eyes, among other injuries.
In a video posted on his Instagram storyKlotz claimed he was attacked by a group of teenagers on the New York City subway after watching a New York Giants game at a bar.
“Where are the parents?” he said as he lay in bed, showing a cut and bruised face. “Don’t let your children come beat me again in the middle of the night, please.”
Klotz said he intervened when the group of seven or eight teenagers was harassing an older man.
“I was like, ‘Yo, guys, stop it.’ And they decided, ‘Okay, if he doesn’t get it, then you’re going to get it,'” Klotz said.
“Boy, they gave it to me,” he added, noting that they beat him in the face and ribs.
A few of the instigators were arrested by police, Klotz said, and the older man escaped unscathed.
Klotz added that he had x-rays taken and was not seriously injured.
The New York Post reported that three of the underage suspects were arrested and later handed over to their parents because of their age.
