White House releases Biden’s Thanksgiving Day menu

President Biden enjoyed all the Thanksgiving classics — turkey, stuffing, gravy, pies — and his favorite ice cream at the family’s first holiday dinner in Nantucket, Massachusetts, on Thursday.

The Bidens’ menu, details of which were released Thursday night, came with roast turkey with thyme, sherry sauce, classic stuffing, cranberry relish and sweet potatoes. The first family also enjoyed the shrimp cocktails, seared scallops and roasted root vegetables.

The president’s Thanksgiving dessert consisted of three types of pies – apple, coconut cream and pumpkin – as well as his favorite flavor of chocolate chip ice cream.

The two Biden turkeys pardoned earlier this week, as part of classic White House tradition, they were aptly called Chocolate and Chip.

President and First Lady Jill Biden visited Nantucket earlier this week and spent Thanksgiving Day itself visiting a local fire department, calling the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and speaking with members of the armed forces.
